Although Yung Mei Ling has not been in the industry for long, she displayed remarkable courage by traveling solo to Thailand to perform.
Yung Mei Ling returned yesterday and shared her experiences from Thailand. She recalled that the warm and enthusiastic attitudes of the locals left a lasting impression on her. However, some men took their enthusiasm too far, with several even stepping onto the stage to steal a kiss, creating many awkward situations. Fortunately, nothing truly unpleasant happened.
Yung Mei Ling arrived back in Hong Kong yesterday, and Kent Tong returned with her. After wrapping up his luxurious vacation, Kent made a special trip to Thailand to join Yung Mei Ling, and the two later travelled together to Kuala Lumpur. Their relationship seems self-explanatory.
Yung Mei Ling revealed that her performances in Thailand were highly rewarding, as her earnings were all in US dollars. Moreover, the overwhelming enthusiasm of the local fans left her both surprised and flattered.
According to Yung Mei Ling, the recent broadcast of The Legend of the Condor Heroes in Thailand had just concluded, and the resulting buzz worked greatly in her favor. Fans would shout her character’s name, "Huang Rong," both on the streets and at her shows.
During her performances, many passionate female fans often rushed on stage to hug and kiss her on the cheek. Unfortunately, some men also used the opportunity to get too close, attempting to touch her or make demands. Yung Mei Ling firmly rejected such advances, clarifying, “I’m here to offer songs, not charm.”
She added that it was a relief Kent hadn’t yet arrived in Thailand during those incidents. Otherwise, he would have been both delighted and upset to witness such scenes.

据翁美玲透露,在 泰国登台期间,收获甚 丰,因为所赚的尽是美 金,而且当地影迷非常 热情,使她受宠若惊。

见了她都狂呼她做黄蓉 。此外,在登台期间, 不少热情女影迷都经常走上台拥抱她,甚至吻她的面颊,遗憾的是, 一些男士亦乘机想揩油,走上台向她索物,甚至拉拉扯扯,但都被她拒绝了,因为她只是献「歌」,而不是献「色」。
她又说,幸好她登 台表演的时候,阿汤还 未到泰国,否则,那些 场面给他看了,一定又 高兴又生气。
