Clarence Fok Yiu-leung ( June 10, 1955 - February 1, 2024) was a Hong Kong director and producer. He occasionally makes cameo appearances in films. Fok Yiu-leung was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 1986 Hong Kong Film Awards for his role in " Goodbye, Seven Days " . The film " Naked Lambs " directed by him has become an internationally renowned cult film classic. American director James Gunn noted that Naked Lambs had a profound influence on his film career.

Biography
Fok Yiu-leung graduated from the School of Design of the Hong Kong Polytechnic . In 1977, he joined the Rediffusion Television Training Class and received six months of director training. After graduation, he worked as an assistant director . In 1978, he joined TVB as a director and screenwriter . In 1980, he started filming his first movie " Vietnamese Boy ", which was not released until 1982. In 1981, he directed " The Unemployed " starring Danny Chan and Leslie Cheung . In the same year, Wu Yaoliang was promoted to producer in TVB . The TV series he produced include " Bean Sprout Dream " and " Catch One by One ". In 1984, he terminated his contract with TVB as he wanted to develop fully in the film industry.
Fok Yiu-leung is known for his quick thinking and diligence. Among them, " Mr. Freeze " is the earliest time-travel theme, and " Red Dragon " is the first Hong Kong film shot in Moscow. He also shot two Category III films of completely different styles and genres, " Naked Lamb " and " A Heart of Steel ", which are his most acclaimed works. He also served as the creative planner of Mak Dang-hung Film Production Company .
After 2000, Fok Yiu-leung filmed many TV series in mainland China, including " Seven Swordsmen ", " Guarding the Sunshine and Guarding You ", " Seven Fairies of Heaven and Earth ", etc.
On February 1, 2024, Peter Ho died of kidney cancer and heart disease at Sha Tin Hospital at the age of 68. His death was not announced to the public until March 6, 2025.

生平

霍耀良于香港理工学院设计学院毕业。1977年参加丽的电视训练班，接受为期六个月的编导训练，毕业后做助理编导。1978年转投无线电视当编导，1980年开拍他的首部电影《越南仔》于1982年才公映，1981年执导由陈百强、张国荣主演的《失业生》，同年霍耀良在无线电视晋升为监制，其监制的电视剧有《豆芽梦》及《逐个捉》，1984年由于他希望全身在电影圈发展，故而与无线解约。
霍耀良以急才勤快见称，其中《急冻奇侠》是最早期的时空穿越题材，《红场飞龙》是第一部在莫斯科拍摄的香港电影。他亦拍摄了两部风格类型完全不同的三级片《赤裸羔羊》和《郎心如铁》，是他最为人称道的作品，亦曾出任麦当雄电影制作公司的创作策划。
2000年以后，霍耀良多在中国内地拍摄电视剧，作品包括《七剑下天山》、《守着阳光守着你》、《天地姻缘七仙女》等。
霍耀良于2024年2月1日因肾癌及心脏病，于沙田医院病逝，终年68岁。其死讯直至2025年3月6日才对外公布.
