Yesterday, Yung Mei Ling organized a meeting with her fans. Today a fan can apply for another fan meeting. To get accepted, male or female, each application will be seriously checked to avoid undesirable persons at the meeting as theycan affect the nature of meeting.
Yung Mei Ling attended last meeting for around half an hour. She explained that she needed to return TVB for a make-session . When she left, many fans asked her for her autograph She could almost not leave the place. Also the fans ask her to bring her photographs to the meeting.
Yung Mei Ling said "The Fearless Duo" will start filming on January the 9th and TVB has rejected the Shaw Studio's movie "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils" on her behalf. Before TVB has also rejected many movies for her. TVB explained that they hope she will enter the film industry therefore her first movie must be chosen carefully. For the movie of "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils", she refuses to act the character that was acted by the actress (Ms. Wong Hang Sau) on TVB before. It is to avoid any misunderstanding that she was just the second choice to perform this character. Therefore TVB did not let her to participate in this movie.
Last year, Yung Mei Ling signed a long-term contract with TVB. Originally, she regarded this contract as too long and required to shorten the contract from 5 yearsto 3 years. But then she thought 5 years or 3 years there is not much difference, so she decided to sign the 5 year contract.
Kent Tong has given her a diamond ring for Christmas. However, she does not know what gift she is going to give him.
