On the 2nd of April 1985 the Dongfanghong Pharmaceutical Company's opened the Wholesale Center. Yung Mei Ling and Carol Cheng were invited to cut the ribbon. Chairman Chen Xueliang lead the cermony. The center is located at Block AB, 2nd Floor, Xingye Building, 30 Minyu Street, Hung Hom. It is speculated that the ribbon cutting was held in the afternoon. Before their departure to the center pictures were taken of Yung Mei Ling in the doorway corridor of the TBV studios make-up room and the parking lot near the gate. This was at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Carol Cheng had separate pictures taken in de garden of TBV studies.
