近日無綫於深夜時段重播經典劇集《天師執位》，引起不少網民對女主角翁美玲的追憶。對於翁美玲的戀情及绯聞，好多人知她和湯鎮業拍過拖，又被鄒世龍追求過，但原來她在來港發展之前，在英國有過一段鮮爲人知的愛情故事。

翁美玲入行3年 終年26歲

翁美玲雖然只係出道短短3年，但她在《射雕英雄傳》演活了金庸筆下冰雪聰明、刁蠻任性的黃蓉，因而一炮而紅，之後又與三哥苗僑偉被打造為熒幕情侶，先後拍下《決戰玄武門》、《天師執位》、《楚留香之蝙蝠傳奇》等劇。只可惜85年她在事業如日方中之際，於廣播道寓所以烈酒吞服安眠藥後開煤氣自殺身亡，終年26歲。

翁美玲英國前男友曝光

2010年，翁美玲的荷蘭籍前男友Rob Radboud曾製作出一個有關翁美玲的英文網站，入面公開交代了翁美玲17至22歲期間同Rob在英國的甜蜜史及親密照，其中更提及了兩人相識的經過，至今這個網站仍在持續更新，而Rob與翁美玲同齡，今年已63歲。

Rob在網站中透露他在1976年首次遇見翁美玲，當時阿翁一個人坐在劍橋藝術科學學院的飯堂入面寫日誌，Rob深深被她吸引住，於是主動上前結識。每逢假日，阿翁都要留在屋企間炸魚薯條店幫手，所以初期，學校圖書館是他們拍拖勝地。

當年翁美玲應Rob好友Bill之邀到其家中作客，Rob緊張到死，驚就咁冇咗個女友，阿翁知道男友真係好關心自己，二人關係從此更上一層樓。

在Rob眼中，翁美玲是個嚴守紀律的好學生，當年Rob同幾個real biker朋友，個個留長頭髮，著住皮褸，駕住部重型電單車去幫襯翁美玲屋企人嗰間炸魚薯條店。阿翁第二日就同Rob講以後唔好再去，趕客之餘，又怕屋企人唔鍾意佢同班貌似飛仔嘅人一齊。
