Yesterday, Yung Mei Ling returned to TVB building to get her script. Journalist asked her why she did not need to give a performance in the TVB charity show (Po Leung Ku). Yung Mei Ling said that TVB had informed her that she had to give a performance in TVB Anniversary show. Yesterday, they had a meeting but she did not attend it so she did not know what performance she had to do.
Journalist asked her the comment about Tong Chun Yip’s sexual movie scene. With smile she says: “Tong Chun Yip had informed her about these scenes in advance. Although I will not go to watch this movie, I believe it is not astonishing.”
Yung Mei Ling is now still filming “The New Adventure of Chor Lau Heung”. She thought that after this filming was over, she could take a rest. Unexpectedly, she got to take part in a new tv series which has 40 episodes (TVB Producer - Yau Ka Hung). So, her plan to rest needs to be cancelled. In this new tv series, she will work together with Tony Leung Chiu Wai.
Yung Mei Ling said that she never acted as a love partner of Tony Leung Chiu Wai. She has a feeling of freshness as she worked with Michael Miu Kiu Wai so many times. This new tv series has 40 episodes. In the meantime, she cannot take a rest. She needs to work during Christmas, New Year Eve and Chinese New Year. She sighed: “There is no joy in life.”
Journalist asked her about the expectation of this tv series. It is because that Yung Mei Ling always performs in ancient tv series. With smile she says: “Indeed, I don’t want to act a wilful role anymore. I do not mind if it is an ancient drama or a costume drama. In fact, an ancient drama is better as many people likes me wearing ancient clothes. On stage, wearing ancient clothes is beneficial to me.” She said that as she is short her neck would feel pain if her work partner was tall.
